Sony is inviting all aspiring singers, musicians and performers to step into the limelight and stand a chance to compete on a regional stage.

As testament to the company’s credo “make.believe”, Sony is encouraging youths to express their creativity and be closer to achieving their dreams with the ‘Like Performing Love Sony’ Campaign.

Interested youths between the ages of 18 and 30 can decide to participate individually or in a group of no more than six members and record their musical performances (song, dance or instrumental) either privately or at any of the organised roadshows held at various tertiary institutions. Entries can be submitted online at the Sony Singapore Facebook page and the top 10 finalists will be invited to perform ‘live’ to vie for the top prize of S$2,000 cash, S$7,000 worth of Sony products and an exclusive weekend stay at a five-star hotel to be pampered like a celebrity.

In addition, the winning act will be filmed for a music video that will be uploaded onto Sony’s Facebook page for stand a chance to win a cash prize of US$5,000 against the winners from other South East Asian countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
