THE SHIMMER BAND – SHOOT ME (BABY)

Swagger. If that’s what rock ‘n’ roll is all about, then The Shimmer Band have it, in spades. There’s quite a fair bit of the Stones via Primal Scream going on here. Not a bad thing.

THE VRYLL SOCIETY – METROPOLIS

The Vryll Society is a glorious throwback to the late 60s and released its debut EP (Pangea) in October last year. True blue psych-folk-rock revivalists to the core, this is band to look out for.

BLOSSOMS – AT MOST A KISS

In a short space of time, Blossoms have risen quickly within the UK indie scene to become a genuine contender. EPs and singles releases have been the approach mainly so far, with a debut LP possible in 2016. A very radio-friendly sound, if this were the 80s or the 90s. But who knows?
