According to Variety, Warners have pushed back the release date of Steven Spielberg’s adaptation of Ernest Cline’s bestselling Ready Player One from December 15th, 2017 to March 30th, 2018.
The reason of course is obvious – this was necessitated by the news that Star Wars VIII had been moved to December 15th. So, because of that, now both Avatar 2 and Ready Player One have taken the safe option and re-scheduled.
