KittyWu Records presents Lymbyc Systym (USA) and LITE (JPN)

KittyWu Records presents the post-rock duo from LYMBYC SYSTYM, Jared and Michael Bell and Tokyo-based instrumentalists LITE, who will be in town headlining a double-billed show on July 2!

The duo, who have been collaborating since they were preteens, decided to join forces in 2001 to form Lymbyc Systym, a balance of acoustic instruments and programming. After relocating to Brooklyn, NY, the duo have since opened for bands like Broken Social Scene, Mice Parade and Junior Boys. They have released an EP, Carved by Glaciers (2005, Magic Bullet), a debut full length album, Love Your Abuser (2007, Mush/), a split EP w/ label mates This Will Destroy You (2008, Magic Bullet) and a second full length Shutter Release (2009, Mush/).

Lite, group of Tokyo-based instrumentalists, have a killer combination of emotionally charged compositions with math-rock power. Having toured intensively in Europe and Japan since 2005, including playing at the famed Fuji Rock Festival in 2007 and again this year, both bands will be making a stop here to perform at Home Club before heading to KL and Taiwan.
