The Hard Rock Cafe is renowned worldwide as a prestigious theme restaurant that celebrates rock ‘n’ roll and it’s pleasing to note that since it’s recent relaunch with renovated premises at the HPL House at Cuscaden Road, it has initiated two regular events that showcase original music in Singapore.
Bandwagon Nights, curated by online music media Bandwagon Asia, has for three weeks now, featured Singapore bands/artists on Wednesday nights with Forests, Tim De Cotta and Cheating Sons (above) rocking the event thus far.
This Sunday will see the debut of Original Music Night, a monthly showcase of relatively new melodic rock bands, that hopefully will give S-ROCK a considerable boost in providing yet another platform for growth and development.
For the inaugural Original Music Night, organiser Mike Spinks will present Bryan Chua, stillsunrise, Keith Soo-Tho & Wolf Machine, Charlieblouse & the Milky Boys and Sam Driscoll Band, which promises an evening of New Rock N Roll befitting the legacy of the Hard Rock Cafe.
Free admission. The fun begins at 7pm.
… still there’s more …
