Another new release from a member of the Pop Underground – this time, it’s Kerry Kompost Chicoine!
Back in the day, I reviewed Chicoine’s work with power pop bands like Kickstand USA and Receiver (and his solo stuff, if I am not mistaken) and it’s a positive thrill to be listening to smashing new material from the talented singer-songwriter.
Aided and abetted by producer Fernando Perdomo, “Those Days Are Over” is a wonderfully nostalgic slab of Power Pop Rock N Roll with a relevant message.
‘In the end it’s what you learn that’s important
And baby I’m a walking book
Make no mistake sometimes I still feel anger
But mainly I just feel real good’
Hopefully, there’s more to come from Chicoine!
LONG LIVE THE POP UNDERGROUND!!!
