Paramount+ has quietly reinforced its lineup of serialized dramas, renewing four series tied to Tyler Perry and Carl Weber. The move extends two established Perry spinoffs and two Weber-led dramas, underscoring the streamer’s continued investment in Black-led ensemble storytelling and franchise building.
Zatima, the Tyler Perry spinoff that follows Fatima and her circle, recently closed out its fourth season in July 2026 on a tense cliffhanger involving Fatima and her unborn child. Paramount+ has now ordered a sixth season of the series; the new run is expected to span 16 episodes, but an official premiere date has not been announced.
The related title Divorced Sistas — which debuted in June 2025 and completed the latter half of its first season in May 2026 — has also been renewed for a 16-episode third season. Both spinoffs keep the Perry universe expanding on the streamer, with casts that include DeVale Ellis, Crystal Reneé Hayslett, and others in Zatima, and LeToya Luckett, Khadeen Indréa, Porscha Coleman and a supporting ensemble in Divorced Sistas.
Carl Weber’s serialized dramas were part of the renewal slate as well. The Family Business was greenlit for a seventh season, and The Black Hamptons will return for a third season, signaling continued confidence in Weber’s franchises on the platform.
