Untamed Artists LA has added Los Angeles writer-director Alex Hanno to its management roster, a move that arrives as Hanno readies a new psychological thriller and builds on a growing track record in genre and festival cinema. The signing gives Hanno agency support for both his writing and directing projects at a moment when his work is drawing attention across festivals and digital platforms.
Hanno’s credits span multiple genres: he co-wrote and directed the upcoming psychological thriller Bravado, authored the apocalyptic drama A Social Contract—which stars Sean Astin—and made his feature directing debut with the 2018 romantic dramedy Elephants. His short horror-satire Detox recently premiered on Omeleto, and he contributed to Soundtrip, an award-winning interactive audio piece that debuted at the 2023 Hollywood Fringe Festival.

Untamed’s partners described Hanno as a filmmaker who combines market-aware concepts with a recognizable personal voice, and said the agency intends to broaden his opportunities across writing and directing. Hanno will be managed by Eric Ziech in all areas.
