With the series scheduled to return to NBC’s lineup later this spring, viewers are watching closely: the poll shows strong fan support, but the network has not confirmed a third season.
The poll, which invited readers to name up to five broadcast series they most want renewed, closed with just over 40,000 votes. Brilliant Minds captured the largest share, receiving more than 12 percent of ballots, a reflection of vocal viewer interest even as the show’s status hangs in the balance.
NBC temporarily removed the show during its Winter Olympic coverage in February. After that pause the series did not immediately return; the most recent new episode aired on February 2.
