Huxley Rittman is back with his merry band of Hitmen with the slinky blues-rock number, “Go Figure”.
Underpinned by an insistent beat, “Go Figure” is a hazy schizoid head case of a slow burner as Rittman laces his caustic lyrics with cynical ennui like “and all around are sunny fuckers but somehow the fuckin’ suckers get it right, go figure, go figure, go figure it out”.
Simultaneously channeling 70s space rock and Dylan-styled stream-of-consciousness folk-blues, “Go Figure” is yet another blast of fresh air from this promising band of rockers.
