Pugwash has gone from a quartet back to singer-songwriter Thomas Walsh with new album Silverlake.
With the legendary Jason Falkner on production duties, there is definitely no loss of quality on this excellent new collection of pop-rock songs.
Anyone familiar with Pugwash material will no doubt recognise the sophisticated textures, the top notch production values, not to mention the sheer beauty of the melodies and harmonies on show.
Fans of XTC, Paul McCartney and ELO would simply fall head over heels over Silverlake. An essential listening pleasure for the PoP faithful.
