Pitchfork Music Festival Paris has expanded the program for its Avant-Garde strand, announcing 55 additional performers who will join the festival’s late-week lineup in the Bastille neighborhood. The new roster deepens the event’s focus on experimental and boundary-pushing music as the full festival returns to Paris in November.
New Avant-Garde additions and where they play
The Avant-Garde series will run from November 5 to 7 across seven intimate venues clustered around Bastille. Among the names added to the slate are Quiet Light, Robber Robber, Becky and the Birds, MGNA Crrrta, Ideasforconversations, Cowgirl Clue, Deer Park, the Femcels, Lido Pimienta, Sade Olutola, Jordan Patterson and Worldpeace DMT.

- Quiet Light — experimental pop and ambient textures

A previously announced set of headliners — including Iceage, Charlotte Adigéry & Bolis Pupul, Headache, Ear, Amore, and Bassvictim — will remain the marquee names for the festival’s broader bill. The independent label DH2 is curating a dedicated night at Badaboum on Thursday, November 5, adding a club-focused dimension to the program.
How this complements the wider festival
Pitchfork Paris runs November 2–8, and the Avant-Garde program is positioned as a concentrated showcase of experimental acts that don’t always fit on the main stages. For attendees, that means a chance to see established experimental artists side-by-side with emerging projects in smaller spaces — a format that tends to produce surprise collaborations and late-night discoveries.

On the same day the Avant-Garde lineup dropped, the organizers also revealed the first wave of acts for the London edition of Pitchfork, highlighting names such as the Avalanches, Tortoise, Aja Monet and Olof Dreijer. Notably, Noname will perform a special show marking the 10th anniversary of her debut album Telefone.
Practical details
Tickets for Pitchfork Music Festival Paris are on sale now through Dice. With a compressed, venue-by-venue Avant-Garde schedule, advance planning is advised: many sets will be short and in limited-capacity rooms.
Why this matters: the expanded Avant-Garde bill underscores Pitchfork’s continuing investment in experimental music scenes across Europe, and creates more curated nights for listeners seeking music outside mainstream festival programming. For Paris audiences, it’s an opportunity to sample a concentrated cross-section of contemporary experimental music over a single weekend.
