Lexington Comic Con brings more than 80 celebrities to Central Bank Center this weekend, offering fans the chance to meet stars from television, film, comics, and wrestling—with photo op prices ranging from $65 to $155 depending on the guest.
The three-day fall convention, running Friday through Sunday, September 4–6, marks the first autumn edition of Lexington’s largest gathering of pop culture fans. Event coordinator Catrina Hencye said the fall show is “a labor of love,” adding that fans can explore their passion for geek culture while meeting the celebrities they’ve been wanting to encounter.
The lineup spans multiple franchises and entertainment categories. George Takei, one of the last surviving cast members from the original “Star Trek,” will lead a panel discussion Saturday at 2 p.m. and offers photo ops for $105. Jamie Campbell Bower, known for playing Vecna in “Stranger Things,” commands $130 for a photo op, while comedian Patton Oswalt charges $85 for photos and $60 for selfies and autographs.
Several “Star Trek” actors are featured, including Denise Crosby and Gates McFadell, both from “The Next Generation,” each priced at $75 for photo ops. Todd Stashwick, who played Captain Liam Shaw in “Star Trek: Picard,” also charges $75 for photos. Other notable guests include Kevin Nealon ($70 photo ops), Barry Bostwick from “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” ($65 alone or $135 with co-star Nell Campbell), and voice actress Kathleen Herles, the original voice of Dora on “Dora the Explorer” ($85 for photos).
A surprise addition to the guest list is Peggy, the dog who played Dogpool in the 2024 film “Deadpool & Wolverine.” Peggy, a British Pugese who formerly held the title of Britain’s Ugliest Dog, will offer photo ops for $85 after having to cancel her appearance at the convention’s spring show in March.
The convention operates from noon to 8 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. General admission tickets range from $43.13 to $281, with children 12 and under admitted free with a paid adult ticket. Photo op bookings are available online, and event organizers note that some high-profile stars have limited availability, making advance reservations advisable. More than 10,000 parking spaces are available within a 10-minute walk of the venue.
The spring 2026 edition of Lexington Comic Con, held in March, featured over 100 celebrity guests and drew thousands of fans to the same downtown location. The convention has become one of Lexington’s largest public events, regularly attracting 30,000 or more attendees and spanning 140,000 square feet of exhibits featuring comic creators, collectibles, and interactive experiences.
