Brass Roots Fest brings free music to Bug Light Park on September 13, offering live performances, visual art, food trucks, and family-friendly activities from noon to 7 p.m. The one-day festival, presented by Brass Roots Productions, celebrates creativity and community against one of South Portland’s most iconic waterfront backdrops.

The event has received enthusiastic support from South Portland’s mayor and city leadership, who share a goal of developing Brass Roots Fest into an annual tradition.
