The Sleeves are back with a cracking new album! The Hong Kong – based quartet self-released their debut album Arcade Rock in 2011.
The follow-up Deliverance was recorded in Cambodia, mixed in Hong Kong and mastered at Air Studios in London.
Consisting of Keith Goodman (vocals, rhythm guitar), Pete Gordon (lead guitar), Matt Coleman (percussion) and Stu McCutcheon (bass), The Sleeves deliver taut melodic rock that will impress any fan of authentic organic music.
With thought-provoking lyrics, well-constructed songs and a freewheeling “can-do” attitude, Deliverance is a shot in the arm for anybody pretty much non-plussed by whatever passes for alternative music in 2018.
Once opening track “(Out on the) Dance Floor [Get What You Ask For]” rips into your consciousness, chances are that the adrenaline will be pumping so hard, you will be aching for more.
If not, then you are probably fucking brain dead and it does not matter anyways. But seriously folks, you need Deliverance – right here, right now!
… still there’s more …
