MAAD Sounds at the Red Dot Design Museum – curated by Andy Yang – has been an essential showcase for original music in Singapore for quite a while now. Tonight’s edition marks the last instalment of the vital local music resource at the current venue.
Good news is that four acts have been lined up at different degrees of the rock spectrum – from the acoustic flavours of J A W N to the neo-progressive instrumentals of T-Rex, from the southern rock revivalist agenda of General Lee to the psych-rock flourishes of Wolf&theMoon.
A fair indication that S-ROCK (such as it is) is indeed alive & kicking! Don’t miss this!!
7 – 11pm, Red Dot Design Museum, 28 Maxwell Road, Ground Floor, Red Dot Traffic Building, 069120. Admission is free.
