IS THERE ANYBODY OUT THERE?
With John Carter, The Avengers and MIB3 out of the way, the serious contender for your hardcore scifi fan attention arrives in 5 days time as Prometheus opens in Singapore on 7th June. Marking director Ridley Scott’s return to scifi, Prometheus promises to be an epic horror-adventure flick to keep your senses and your mind engaged.
Based on the trailers and various behind-the-scenes features, the above assessment appears to be the case but of course, how the movie eventually turns out is anyone’s guess at this point in time. Personally, I have a good feeling about Prometheus and with a crack ensemble that includes Noomi Rapace, Charlize Theron, Guy Pearce, Idris Elba and Michael Fassbender, I believe Scott will be able to deliver a scifi classic to measure up to his masterpiece, Alien.
