Your Honor Season 2 Ep 9 is the ninth and penultimate chapter of the second season of a legal drama television series that follows the story of a respected New Orleans judge, Michael Desiato, whose son is involved in a hit-and-run accident that leads to a high-stakes game of lies, deceit, and corruption. The show explores themes of morality, family, and the legal system, and stars Bryan Cranston in the lead role. Originally intended as a mini-series, a second season was inexplicably ordered by Showtime.
S P O I L E R S
Your Honor Season 2 Ep 9 continues to confirm what we have been saying about this pointless second season – this has been a meaningless exercise from the get-go! As we have maintained with every single review so far, the first season ended the story of Michael Desiato perfectly and this story did not need continuation. It was resolved and that’s what Showtime should have done – let Your Honor rest.
Your Honor Season 2 Ep 9 once again introduce plot threads that go nowhere, unresolved or prematurely ended. The mutiny against Big Mo is finished without much fuss and the grand plan of the Assistant District Attorney (ADA) to bring down the Baxter crime family via the new property development is also nixed. Ironically, Fia tells her father that she had been approached to assist in the investigation by the ADA and Jimmy Baxter immediately pulls the plug! A dumb move for sure by that annoying ADA, so satisfying if nothing else.
Worse still is the trail of Eugene Jones, who we all know DID kill Adam Desiato but somehow is trying to get us to root for him and his lawyer Lee. Seriously WTF. And what about at the end where Lee tries to convince Michael to lie on the stand so that Eugene Jones can be acquitted of murder? Disgusting. At least this travesty will be over soon!
