YOUR HONOR SEASON 2 EP 7: THE STORY WE NEVER NEEDED

Your Honor Season 2 Ep 7

Your Honor Season 2 Ep 7 is the seventh chapter of the second season of a legal drama television series that follows the story of a respected New Orleans judge, Michael Desiato, whose son is involved in a hit-and-run accident that leads to a high-stakes game of lies, deceit, and corruption. The show explores themes of morality, family, and the legal system, and stars Bryan Cranston in the lead role. Originally intended as a mini-series, a second season was inexplicably ordered by Showtime.

Your Honor Season 2 Ep 7 continues this second season’s quest to payoff plot threads hinted at in the first season but never really needed by the audience to close up the original story arc. Specifically, how and why Desiato’s wife Robin was murdered. Robin’s death was mentioned as part of the back story in the first season but no serious reason was ever given to the audience that her death was significant to the plot of the series. But there you go.

Your Honor Season 2 Ep 7 reveals that there is a twist to this how and why because it eventually brings Desiato back to Mayor Charlie! Yes, Charlie – Desiato’s best friend – was indirectly responsible for Robin’s death as he had warned Detective Cunningham of Robin’s investigation into police corruption. and how is Cunningham? He is the cop that shot Eugene Jones, not Beckwith – who is not a detective – but a street cop! Talk about confusing, eh?

Basically, there is a lot of sound and fury over this story arc but it resolves once more without too much significance to what we originally thought was the key quest of season two viz. bringing down the Baxter crime family. Is that still on the cards though – as the ending of this episode brings Desiato into direct conflict with Jimmy Baxter, as Fia seeks refuge with the ex-judge. Expect fireworks. Presumably.
