So… Your Honor Season 2 Ep 6 reveals that the ending of the previous chapter – which suggested that Desiato might be charged for the murder of his wife – was just an empty tease. All of a sudden, this second season has pivoted completely from the previous storyline – involving bringing down the Baxter crime family – to investigating who actually killed Robin Desiato. Seems that it was a crooked cop viz. Detective Beckwith who did the dastardly deed.
And … Your Honor Season 2 Ep 6 ends with the aforementioned Beckwith shooting Eugene Jones before he can get out of New Orleans. Say what? How did Beckwith figure this all out simply based on Eugene’s sketches journal, which Beckwith fished out of the car crash? Huh? In a convoluted sequence of convenient events, Jones’ presence in New Orleans is discovered by a junkie with ties to Carlo Baxter and while on the way to the bus station, the Desire vehicle is crashed into by the junkie, with Carlo in tow. All caught up?
Beckwith is, of course, beholden to the Baxters and makes his way to shoot Eugene Jones as a murder suspect-fugitive. Does Eugene die? Guess we will need to find out in the next episode! Where is this train wreck headed? No idea …
