Yellowjackets Season 2 Ep 6 is the 16th chapter of a survival horror drama television series created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson. The series cross-hatches several genres successfully by combining influences from popular TV series like Lost, True Detective and every teenage coming-of-age drama out there.
The premise of Yellowjackets is as follows – 25 years ago, a high school girls soccer team were stranded for 18 months in the Canadian wilderness after a plane crash. The trauma of that experience lives on with them to the present day as the darkness becomes part of their everyday lives. Thus, the narrative of the series is divided between these two eras.

Entitled “Saints”, Yellowjackets Season 2 Ep 6 brings back together the core team members to the cult encampment viz. Lottie, Nat, Misty, Tai, Van and Shauna. And the aerial view of the camp seals the deal as the symbol from the wilderness is drawn out in real life. Definitely the dark presence pulling the strings has manipulated the women to gather in one place.
Yellowjackets Season 2 Ep 6 also presents us a disturbing flashback as Shauna goes into labour but due to her malnutrition, the baby is not able to survive the birth. However, Shauna hallucinates an entire alternate reality where her baby survived only for her team mates to devour him as food later on. Chilling even though only a vision but foreshadowing even more horrors to come for the girls.
With the second season halfway through, it is clear that the mysteries and questions need answers soon or else the audience engagement is at risk. What is this demonic creature that continues to haunt the women?
