Entitled “Stable 9”, Tulsa King Season 1 Ep 6 develops most of the sub-plots sparked by events of the previous instalment. A key sub-plot is derived from Dwight’s revenge killing of a gang member involved in sexually assaulting his daughter. Dwight assures his daughter that there will be no retribution against her but of course, that is a naive conclusion.
Tulsa King Season 1 Ep 6 also advances Dwight’s turf war with the Black MacAdam biker gang with Dwight’s bravado seemingly misplaced as he rebuffs gang leader Waltrip, earning Bred 2 Buck a visit from a Black MacAdam member armed with a big rifle. Amusingly, that gang member comes alone and is taken out by Dwight and Mitch without too much fuss. So what threat did that pose? Seems pointless.
ATF agent Stacey continues to put her career on the line by putting Dwight’s interest as a priority even as the FBI become interested in his Tulsa criminal activities. She goes even so far as to attempt to recruit Dwight to bring Waltrip and the Black MacAdams down but Dwight refuses. Will the latest attack change his mind?
With Dwight and his organisation becoming more and more under threat, it seems almost impossible that Dwight could get out of this scenario unscathed. Guess that’s what the rest of the season will be about eh?
… still there’s more …
