The White Lotus Season 2 Ep 4 is the fourth instalment of the second season of an American comedy-drama anthology television series created by Mike White for HBO. It follows the guests and employees of the fictional White Lotus resort chain, whose stay becomes affected by their various dysfunctions. The first season is set in Hawaii and the second season is set in Sicily.

Entitled “In the Sandbox”, The White Lotus Season 2 Ep 4 begins to unravel relationships as characters act and react to perceived wrongs and negative emotions. This chapter we focus heavily on Harper, Albie, Portia and the two working girls, Lucia and Mia, Tanya also to a lesser extent. In fact, Tanya has a fantastic day having befriended a bunch of gay gentlemen who treat her very well.
The episode finds Harper severely depressed as she returns to her hotel room after the night away to find a used condom. Her natural conclusion is that her husband is cheating on her, which is incorrect. But clearly, this psychological trauma, left unresolved, will lead to bad consequences.

Albie is stood up by Portia, after the latter finds new male interest. This drives him into the arms of Lucia, feeling sorry for Albie and the couple have a sexual liaison. Of course, Albie is unaware of the fact that Lucia is a prostitute and had sex with his father Dominic. Definitely poised for conflict. Mia, on the other hand, is determined to get a singing opportunity from Giuseppe, the hotel pianist, by having sex with him but that does not end well though.
The White Lotus Season 2 Ep 4 is juggling a couple of plot balls in the air, and we are primed for high drama in the final three episodes, for sure! Highly recommended!!
