The Wheel of Time Season 2 Ep 8 is the eighth and final chapter of the second season of an American high fantasy television series developed by Rafe Judkins for Amazon Prime Video. The series is based on the novel series of the same name by Robert Jordan with Brandon Sanderson. Similar to Foundation over at AppleTV+, we were of the view that the adaptation of these genre fiction classics fell well short of the source material, but despite that like Foundation, this series had been renewed for a second and now, a third season!

Premise
Entitled “What Was Meant To Be”, The Wheel of Time Season 2 Ep 8 has fate leading Rand and his friends to an inevitable showdown with the Seanchan empire, their most formidable enemies yet.
Good
Seriously, this season 2 finale is the best episode of the series thus far! Considering how tepid the first season and first part of the second season were, this is nothing short of a miracle. but credit where it’s due, the series has managed to turn this formerly awkwardly boring adaptation into a genuinely exciting and engaging one! The third act ties together all the various plot strands into an intriguing whole to deliver a satisfying resolution to this second season. It’s amazing how the five unremarkable friends from the first season have been transformed into relatable (and heroic) characters! And the actors have certainly grown into their roles as well. Kudos!

Glad to report that there was hardly any real missteps to record here.
Conclusion
In the final analysis, The Wheel of Time Season 2 Ep 8 has redeemed this series as one of the better fantasy series out there in the streaming wasteland. Hopefully, the third season will be even stronger!
