THE BAD BATCH SEASON 2 EP 15-16: THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK!

The Bad Batch Season 2 Ep 15-16

The Bad Batch Season 2 Ep 15-16 are the final chapters of the second season of an animated television series set in the Star Wars universe. The series follows a group of elite and genetically enhanced clone troopers, known as the Bad Batch, as they undertake daring mercenary missions after the fall of the Republic and the rise of the Galactic Empire. The show explores the events that occur after the end of the Clone Wars, and how the characters adapt to the changing political landscape.

Entitled “The Summit”and “Plan 99” respectively, The Bad Batch Season 2 Ep 15-16 has everything go wrong for our favourite clones. The season closes with a cliff-hanger that demands a strong third season, if Clone Force 99 is to survive. As it is, it appears that Tech died at the end of chapter 15, though of course, without a body, nobody can confirm that as a fact. Omega is captured by Dr. Hemlock to be used to blackmail Nala Se in order to ensure her compliance.

Now, it’s obvious from the events in The Bad Batch Season 2 Ep 15-16 that this series is trying to explain the inexplicable outcome in The Rise of Skywalker, when suddenly Palpatine returns – one of the worst twists in movie history. It is clear that Dr. Hemlock’s experiments involve the cloning of Palpatine (and perhaps the creation of Snoke, as well) but here’s the illogical part – why not have a younger and more virile Palpatine (Matt Smith, perhaps?), rather than the old, deformed one? Makes no sense whatsoever. Dumb. Ah well.

In the final analysis, all we care about is the final fates of the clones – and try to forget that it all leads to the horrible cloning of Palpatine… Highly recommended, to diehard Star Wars nerds – like us.
