The Bad Batch S01E03 is the third episode of an animated scifi space opera action-adventure streaming TV series set in the Star Wars universe. Basically a spin-off of the final season of The Clone Wars, The Bad Batch features five ‘deviant’ clone troopers who come together like The Dirty Dozen (click on the link if you are too young to get the reference!) to take on missions that ordinary clone troopers are not equipped to handle.
The Bad Batch S01E02 is the second episode of an animated scifi space opera action-adventure streaming TV series set in the Star Wars universe. The Bad Batch S01E01 is the first episode of an animated scifi space opera action-adventure streaming TV series set in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is the well-received, critically acclaimed Star Wars Disney+ streaming TV series that has taken the world by storm! Even as last year’s first season whetted the appetite of Star Wars fans – young and old – for a return to the world that George Lucas created over forty years ago, nobody expected The Mandalorian Season 2 to well and truly up the ante like it did!
The Mandalorian S02E08 is the season 2 finale of this well-received Star Wars streaming TV drama series. It is no exaggeration to proclaim that success of The Mandalorian has ‘saved’ Star Wars fans and has redeemed the franchise in the eyes of many hardcore fans disillusioned with the way the sequel trilogy turned out.
The Mandalorian S02E07 turned out to be another half an hour episode. However, The Mandalorian S02E07 “The Believer” was a much stronger instalment of this Star Wars bounty hunter epic series as fans were given a deeper insight into the character of Migs Mayfield (Bill Burr) last seen in Season 1.
The Mandalorian S02E06 provided Star Wars fans a memorable moment with the proper return of fan-favourite Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison). Entitled “The Tragedy”, The Mandalorian S02E06 certainly telegraphed that the episode would be a difficult one for Mando (Pedro Pascal) as Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito) set his plan in motion to capture Grogu.
The Mandalorian S02E05 is the episode that diehard Star Wars fans had been waiting for. Entitled “The Jedi”, The Mandalorian S02E05 delivered the ultimate fan-service – the live action debut of a beloved animated character, Ahsoka Tano! At the end of the previous episode, Bo-Katan had revealed the location of one of the last surviving Jedis – the city of Calodan on the forest planet of Corvus.
After the big revelations of the last episode, there were obviously great expectations for The Mandalorian S02E04. But alas, the poor condition of the Razor Crest necessitated yet another diversion from the quest as Mando and the Child re-visited Nevarro for needful repairs. Cue the reunion with Greef Karga (Carl Weathers), Cara Dune (Gina Carano) and even Mando’s former bounty Mythrol (Horatio Sanz), all from the first season.
The Mandalorian S02E03 is destined to be a fan-favourite episode of this popular Disney+ series. Entitled “The Heiress”, The Mandalorian S02E03 introduces the live-action version of Bo-Katan (played by Katee Sackhoff), from The Clone Wars animated series. Bo-Katan is of the Mandalorian Clan Kryze and plans to reclaim Mandolore from the fallen Empire.
It’s fair to say that The Mandalorian S02E02 was a huge disappointment. After the reveal of the return of a fan-favourite legacy character at the end of the last episode, The Mandalorian S02E02 “The Passenger” simply went nowhere, plot-wise.
The Mandalorian S02E01 marks the return of the popular Star Wars series from Disney+. Taking place five years after the events of Return of the Jedi, The Mandalorian is essentially a space western cum samurai tale, following the exploits of a lone bounty hunter in the outer reaches of the galaxy.
As faithful readers would know, I effectively boycotted this seemingly pointless movie when it was released in cinemas, due to The Last Jedi‘s desecration of the Star Wars legacy. But to be fair, I decided to see for myself – so to speak – as the movie has just been released digitally. So be prepared for honest critique of Solo : A Star Wars Story.

Has social media been taken over by Disney press-bots? It gets very distressing when twentysomethings declare the standalone Star Wars film, Rogue One as “the best Star Wars movie ever”!
