Underwater is a 2020 science fiction horror film directed by William Eubank. The story follows a group of scientists and engineers working at a deep sea drilling facility, who are stranded on the ocean floor after an earthquake destroys their station. With limited resources and time, they must journey through the dangerous depths of the ocean to reach safety at a nearby research facility. Along the way, they encounter terrifying creatures and must fight for survival while dealing with the psychological stress of being trapped in a hostile environment. In the Mouth of Madness is a 1994 horror film directed by John Carpenter. The film stars Sam Neill as John Trent, an insurance investigator who is hired to track down a missing horror novelist, Sutter Cane (played by Jürgen Prochnow). Trent becomes embroiled in a series of bizarre and terrifying events as he delves deeper into the mystery of Cane’s disappearance, ultimately leading him to question his own sanity.
