Succession Season 4 Ep 2

We dive back into the cut-throat world of media conglomerates and dysfunctional family dynamics with Succession Season 4 Ep 2 as the highly anticipated fourth season of HBO’s hit series continues. With razor-sharp writing, outstanding performances, and unexpected twists at every turn, Succession continues to prove why it’s one of the best shows on television.

Entitled “Rehearsal”, Succession Season 4 Ep 2 is once more focused very much on corporate meetings and twists and turns within the Roy family dynamic. While last episode concentrated on the battle between Roy and his rebel children (Kendall, Shiv and Roman) over Pierce’s media empire, this latest one involved more haggling this time over the sale of Wayco to Mattson. All of which is odd as the Roy children stand to gain financially from this transaction.

Succession Season 4 Ep 2 again demonstrates that when it comes to Roy family members, nothing is quite as it seems. Shiv is pissed off with her father for advising her husband Tom in divorce matters, Kendall is aware that Mattson is liable to blow up the Wayco deal if pushed on the price and Roman is playing both sides. Despite the risk, there seems to be a belief that it will be possible to push up the Wayco sale price with Mattson, even if unfounded.

Logan himself seems to be taking to the challenge of the Wayco divestment as a new lease on life as he declares an intention to be more hands on with his ATN news channel. All these new plans could be threatened if the Wayco deal collapses, which for some inexplicable reason, Kendall and Shiv seemed hellbent to achieve…

Succession Season 4 Ep 2 keeps the viewer on edge throughout, the engagement is high. Recommended!
