She-Hulk Episode 7 is the seventh instalment of a Disney+ superhero streaming TV comedy drama miniseries based on the Marvel Comics character, and set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The miniseries will have nine parts and focus on what happens when Jennifer Walters, Bruce Banner’s cousin, becomes a Hulk as well.
S P O I L E R S
Entitled “The Retreat”, She-Hulk Episode 7 continues in the seemingly endless cycle where non-existent plots and characterisations are the order of the day. It begs the question – what is even the point of carrying out these story analyses when effectively there is nothing to analyse. Nothing happens in She-Hulk to move the story forward or develop her character. If that’s the point of the exercise then Marvel have wildly succeeded!
Trash like She-Hulk Episode 7 may be acceptable to Kevin Feige (Marvel head honcho) – the man has disappointed us with his poor creative choices of late – but for those of us who value good and effective story telling then She-Hulk is just a waste if time! As we have stated many times before, the series is an unfunny sitcom and an awkward produced superhero story. Thankfully, the series is ending soon… it’s only saving grace is that episodes are less than 30 minutes long!
But what about She-Hulk Episode 7 itself you say? Well, Jen is brooding over her crush Josh ghosting her what spending the night together – when the reality is that he duped Jen so that he could steal her blood – she’s such an easy mark! But the real plot is Jen ending up at Blonsky’s retreat with a posse of silly superhero characters that are not worth mentioning. Dumb. Even worse, the Wrecker character appears and Jen/She-Hulk does not even bother to find out why he attacked her previously! Seriously WTF. That complete threw us out of what passed for a story. So bad!
She-Hulk Episode 7 was just another She-Hulk episode. Nuff said. Piece of shit.
