For his 4th studio album, classic pop singer-songwriter Dent May continues his explorations into elegant and whimsical pop music.
Certainly, May never hides his obsessions with sophisti-pop with references to Brian Wilson, Paul McCartney, 10cc, Electric Light Orchestra and other timeless pop luminaries.
The title track reveals May’s penchant with shiny 80s new wave dance pop as well in a duet with Frankie Cosmos.
“A Little Bit Goes A Long Way” recalls the soft rock balladry of Bread, “Take Me To Heaven” has a touch of Todd Rundgren and the quirky “I’m Gonna Live Forever Until I’m Dead” has a strong Andy (XTC) Partridge vibe.
You get the idea – this album is a must for the PoP faithful.
