Thoughts about how the various superhero TV shows did this week. Spoilers, duh!
THE FLASH 220
The entire episode revolved around a key decision whether to replicate the accident that gave Barry his powers – as debated by Harrison Wells, Joe West and Henry Allen.
Not to mention the reveal that the ‘real’ Jay Garrick may be related to Barry (?)
With Zoom now on Earth-1, it took the flimsy excuse of Zoom’s affection for Caitlyn Snow to stop the villain simply killing off every member of the Flash team.
After the long drawn thought process, Barry agreed to do what everybody knew was absolutely necessary – but what will it mean for Wally and Jesse even as Barry blinks out of existence?
AGENTS OF SHIELD 319
Again, there was one big question behind this episode – how bad would Daisy go?
Would she end up killing one of her former team-mates? Guess she would have offed Mac if not for interference.
The inclusion of the Kree hunters was cool visually but rather disappointed that they were taken out so easily.
The series has been teasing an Agent’s death at the end of the season, we are betting on Lincoln.
A strange episode. As the Arrow team went separate ways to sort out personal matters, the focus was less on Oliver and it worked well especially for John’s segment (v. brother Andy).
Rather convenient to grant Oliver certain magical powers but how else is he going to defeat Darhk, who seems more powerful as the series winds down.
The anticipation is building and hopefully the finale will not disappoint – though Arrow has usually delivered in that respect so far.
… still there’s more …
