GEEK OUT! SUPERHERO TV WRAP – 190216

004

Thoughts about how the various superhero TV shows did this week. Spoilers, duh!

003

THE FLASH 214

Conclusion of The Flash’s adventure in Earth-2 with Harrison Wells and Cisco.

001

We are introduced to a mysterious stranger in an iron mask also imprisoned by Zoom. Who might he be?

002

Killer Frost sacrifices herself to save Team Flash from Zoom. The team return to Earth-1 safely but lose Jay Garrick in the process!

005

AGENT CARTER 206/207

Two-parter that demonstrates how desperate things have become for Peggy and company.

007

Whitney Frost takes control of the Council when she learns that her beloved husband has betrayed. Hell hath no fury… you know the drill.

006

Just when you think things could not get worse, the writers up the ante and it all seems hopeless for our heroine by the end of the episode.

009

ARROW 414

Fairly mundane holding pattern episode where nothing spectacular happens.

008

However, Damien Darhk sets into motion the events that will lead to the anticipated death foreshadowed already.

0010

Who will be the unfortunate individual in the grave? Could it be Donna, Felicity’s mom? William, Oliver’s son? Or someone else??

0011

LEGENDS OF TOMORROW 105

As usual, the writers on LoT took pains to demonstrate how much of a fuck-up every individual member is. Rip Hunter is a failed leader who seems to bungle the very thing he is supposed to be an expert of – the timeline.

0012

To be fair, this episode provided some character bonding as the team underwent tremendous challenges individually, whether physically or mentally.

013

However, the ending at least revealed a next episode to truly look forward to.

Supergirl was on hiatus this week.
