The Hollywood Reporter has reported that the directors of the Star Wars standalone prequel of Han Solo – Phil Lord and Christopher Miller – have left the film over ‘creative differences’.
In a statement, Kathleen Kennedy, president of Lucasfilm attributed this split to “different creative visions”.
According to the article, shooting (which began in February) continues without the directors and presumably a new director will be brought in to complete the production. There will be no change to the release date of May 25th, 2018.
