We are a week away from the opening film of Scream Asia Film Festival. Here’s one I omitted from my must-see list – Hana.
Hana is a horror short directed by Mai Nakanishi, her first directorial effort.
Mai has worked as an assistant director for film-maker Eric Khoo, has produced Japanese segments for the horror anthology ABCS of DEATH 2 and founded Scream Queen FilmFest Tokyo, the only female-centric genre film festival in Asia.
The film revolves around Sujin, a college student who has to babysit 4 year-old Hana at short notice. Strange things start to happen when Sujin is left alone with little Hana.
Hana will be presented before the screening of the closing film, They Who Are Not Seen.
