Better Things Season 5 Episode 9 is the penultimate instalment of the 5th (and final) season of an American comedy-drama television series created by Pamela Adlon and Louis C.K. for FX, starring Adlon as a divorced actress who raises her three daughters on her own. This final season brings back Sam Fox (Adlon) and her dysfunctional family of daughters, mother, brother, ex-husband and assorted close friends.
Entitled “England”, Better Things Season 5 Episode 9 brings about thoughts about the past, problems to deal with in the present and plans that affect the status quo for the future! Sam’s English vacation with her family does not go as planned as life-changing decisions are made in her family that signal that things will never be the same ever again. But that’s life innit?

That’s the beauty of this series, Better Things Season 5 Episode 9 made me cry, laugh and generally feel all sorts of emotions that only the best engagement with characters can achieve. This series never tries too hard to be funny or dramatic, it just puts our beloved characters in simple everyday life situations and we get to experience the highs and the lows with them.
By now, we know the characters so well that it does not take too much to get our attention. We notice every nuance deeply and we emphatize with every joy and heartbreak that is presented along the way. Cannot imagine what a roller-coaster ride of emotions the series finale will probably be. With all the changes put into place in this penultimate episode, where can the finale possibly go? Well, we cannot wait to be surprised and touched by what this series will go out with!
Better Things Season 5 Episode 9 brings us what this series has always brought us – heart and soul. Going to be tough to finally let go.
