Being one of the first bands to be tagged as the “New Beatles” never brought Badfinger the

commercial success their music deserved. This re-issue of a fairly obscure 1977 release emphasizes

the fact that even without Pete Ham (who had died two years earlier), the band were still able to

produce magical melodic moments. Fans of Badfinger and seventies power pop will not be

disappointed. C+
