Entitled “Chopped Liver”, Bad Sisters Ep 3 picks up the narrative of how the Garvey sisters killed their brother-in-law John Paul. While in the present, the sisters continue to fend off Thomas and Matthew Claffin, as they continue the investigate John Paul’s death for foul play. Naturally, the flashbacks tend to be more interesting as the episode reveals more about the sisters’ next attempt on John Paul’s life.

The main focus of the flashbacks in Bad Sisters Ep 3 concerns Ursula joining in the conspiracy to murder John Paul, with her sisters Bibi and Eva. Her motivation hinges on John Paul discovering her extra-marital affair and threatening to expose her to her husband. As always, Clae Bang is the man to hate as John Paul as he oozes douchebaggery from every pore! And then there were three!

The other sub-plot running in the present day that is interesting is the budding romance between Matt Claffin and Becka Garvey, where neither is aware of their connection through the investigation of John Paul’s death. This will obviously play out later (probably) not in the sisters’ favour as Eva remarks at the end that as long as Becka keeps her mouth shut, the sisters would be able to escape detection. Uh-oh.

Bad Sisters Ep 3 marks the failure of the sisters’ second murder attempt. What is unique about this series is that tension is maintained even though we know whodunnit but not how was it done…. Highly recommended!
