Entitled “Rix Road”, Andor Season 1 Ep 12 ends with our protagonist Cassian Andor declaring, “Kill me or take me in…” which signals his recruitment into the Rebellion. A denouement that can only justify one response – MEH. Seriously, that’s it? Who cares how and why a meaningless character like Andor joined the Rebellion? Well, apparently there are quite a few who do – but let us suggest that this prequel series only makes sense in an alternate Star Wars reality we have dubbed the Rogue One Universe (ROU).

This ROU is one in which Andor and of course, Jyn Erso, are the heroes and not Luke, Leia and Han. These ‘heroes’ – whose exploits were reduced to a line in the opening crawl of the Star Wars movie – have their sacrifice honoured in the Rogue One movie. However, this is equivalent to a minor sub-plot in the grand scheme of things which is Star Wars and would never have happened if Disney did not acquire Lucasfilm.

Andor Season 1 Ep 12 and the rest of this godawful series is the cynical result of Disney scraping the bottom of the barrel for content made by people who don’t give a fuck about Star Wars, while ignoring stories of greater import in Star Wars novels, animation and video games. It sickens us to see fanboys bending the knee to this atrocity and we refuse to even comment about this dumb and pointless season finale whatsoever.

Disney Star Wars can well and truly fuck off! Oh… there’s a second season? Dayum.
