Andor Season 1 Ep 11

Entitled “Daughter of Ferrix”, Andor Season 1 Ep 11 is the penultimate chapter of this meaningless first season. All that this episode achieved was to set up a season finale where Cassian returns to Ferrix for his mother’s funeral, with the Empire waiting to capture him in order to discover the identity of the rebel leader, Luthen. It really made the entire prison sequence on Narkina Five seem pointless, which is a pity, because it was the only interesting plot line in the entire series thus far! Which is really saying something!!

READ OUR ANALYSES OF ANDOR SEASON 1.

Andor Season 1 Ep 11, of course, provided us with sub-plots concerning Mon Mothma and Vel, Luthen and Saw Gerrera, Bix’s Imperial torture, Daedra’s planned ambush etc etc. None of which was interesting. After all, we doubt that anything fatal will happen to Cassian as he will appear later in Rogue One. Once more, demonstrating that prequels are generally a bad idea as you strip the series of tension completely!

Andor Season 1 Ep 11

Even as we complain about how bad the Andor series is, we can barely wrap our heads around the idea that there will actually be a second two which will lead directly into the events of Rogue One. Ho hum.
