JekyllsPic

Background
Formed in Denver, Colorado in the summer of 2011, The Jekylls have been making quite an impression on their local music scene, having supported a number of national acts.

Strengths
The songwriting is top notch. The Jekylls know exactly the kind of music they want to make and they never ever compromise on their approach. With decades’ worth of pop-rock influences to choose from, The Jekylls cast their net wide and never settle for generic sounds. Performances are solid and in singer Eryn DeSomer, the Jekylls have the voice to carry across their musical agenda with aplomb.

Highlights
“Meet Me”, “White Boots”, “Can’t Set You Free”.

Sounds Like
The Go-Gos, Blondie, B-52s.

Bottom Line
Retro-pop lovers will appreciate that The Jekylls have spared no effort in being as authentic as their classic pop-rock inspirations deserve. Highly recommended.
