VERVE 2012: AN EMERGING ARTS FESTIVAL [NEWS]

(Press release)

Verve 2012 is an arts festival held at The Arts House on 15 December, 2012 from 10am – 10pm. An emerging arts festival, Verve is for and by the young and young at heart, presenting a new way of experiencing the whole spectrum of local artistic work by allowing its audience to pick and choose their own arts itinerary for a day.

Expect a showcase of Singaporean art from emerging and established artists of various genres in an explosion of music, theatre and dance performances, as well as literary and visual art.

Featuring artists such as Obedient Wives Club, Urich Lau, Lee Rui Xiang, Ding Yi Music Company, Fete Musicians, NUS Synergy, Word Forward and The Improvables, Verve will give you a day to remember with our variety of performances and works.

All proceeds from the festival will go to The Business Times Budding Artists fund to support the work of local emerging artists.

Conceptualised and organised annually by Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s Arts Business Management students, this festival formerly debuted in 2011 as A.C.I.D. , a festival for the dynamic youth-based celebration of the arts.
