GEEK OUT!!! STREAMING | DAREDEVIL SEASON 3

Apart from Daredevil and perhaps The Punisher, the quality of Marvel TV-Netflix series has been mixed. The first season of Jessica Jones only succeeded because of its engaging villain, Killgrave (played by David Tennent) while season 2 was decidedly inferior.

GEEK OUT! INHUMANS IMAX DEBUT

Based on the Jack Kirby creations from the pages of Fantastic Four, Inhumans TV series will be produced by ABC and Marvel TV with IMAX Corporation as a financing partner. Which probably explains why the series is set to debut on IMAX screens on September 1, 2017, and run for two weeks, before premiering on ABC on September 22, and airing eight episodes.

GEEK OUT! JESSICA JONES

Jessica Jones

Netflix’s collaboration with Marvel featuring the grittier, street-wise superheroes of New York (of the Marvel Cinematic Universe) enters into Phase Two with Jessica Jones. Whilst Daredevil has a marquee-level brand recognition, Jessica Jones would only be familiar to diehard comic book fans, from the Marvel MAX series, Alias. Thus, it represented a bit of a risk for Netflix-Marvel to produce a Jessica Jones series over a more prominent character like say, The Punisher or even Luke Cage. But the gamble paid off and how!
