Universal Music Singapore and Topman are pleased to announce ‘SPECTOR – LIVE IN SINGAPORE’ on Thursday, 4th October 2012 at Avalon. Set to bring their indie-chic style and signature tunes to town, the show follows the success of their addictive singles – ‘Chevy Thunder’, ‘Celestine’, ‘Never Fade Away’ and their #1 debut album Enjoy It While It Lasts!

The five piece band from London, comprising Frederick Macpherson (vocals), Christopher Burman (guitar), Thomas Shickle (bass), Jed Cullen (synth, guitar) and Danny Blandy (drums), have just attained the Number 1 spot on the Official Record Store Chart on their album release week in August. The band’s debut album, Enjoy It While It Lasts was the highest purchased album, throughout UK’s indie record stores. nominated for BBC’s Sound Of 2012 Poll in December 2011.

Following on from their headline ‘Spectour’ shows, which culminated in a sold out show at London’s Electric Ballroom, support slots with Florence + The Machine and triumphant appearances at the legendary Coachella festival, Spector are set to take their unique collection of 21st Century torch songs to Singapore.
