Strictly speaking, this is not a review of Sonny Liew‘s Malinky Robot: Collected Stories & Other Bits, which I already assessed here. This time around, I am sharing with you the newly minted Limited Edition Box Set which includes the book as well as a variety of goodies.
We have a copy of the San’ya Times – the newspaper of the fictional city of Malinky Robot.
A mysterious package entitled “Things & Stuff”
Inside, we find a currency note – very handy if you ever find yourself in San’ya!
And what appears to be a cigarette box (!) of the Bambam brand.
Which contained no ciggies (sorry kids) but instead cards like the cute one above.
Finally, there’s a “Digital Package” CD which when slotted into your drive gives you….
Here, you get to check out other assorted goodies of the digital variety – images, reviews, interviews and if you click on Multimedia…
… you get to listen to “Malinky Robot Blues” written and performed by some hack! What fun.
